Naturally creative, professionally driven.

As a self taught graphic artist and aspiring UX designer, I have completed many personal projects with a variety of objectives in both style and product.

I enjoy creating through my chosen mediums in solo projects as well as collaborating with other artists and businesses whenever it's feasible.

Cyberpunk Graphic Art

I made this portrait with the goal of pushing the boundaries of my capabilities as a graphic artist. I chose a cyberpunk theme as it is an imagined world and would allow me to explore endless possibilities for practicing my techniques. In the amount of layers, the colour gradients and the use of several unique brushes, I created one of the most complex and visually striking pieces in my body of work.

Craft Beer Coveralls

While working with Whistle Buoy Brewing in Victoria, BC, as their Retail Team Lead, I manually canned over 20,000 crowlers of beer over my 2 years of employment. A crowler is an enormous can of beer (just under one liter) and is quite the novelty for many beer drinkers. Seeing as I produced the majority of crowlers for the microbrewery, I humorously dubbed myself the "Crowler King". I designed this emblem and had a local print shop print it in a pair of mechanic's coveralls. It became my unofficial work uniform.

Car Club Logo

In the spirit of commemorating my love for Japanese cars, I started a car club based in Victoria, BC, called the "Victoria Mazda Club". The pictorial logo for the club is a 2D render of a 1992 Mazda B2200 that I owned at the time. The neon colours and clean, precise design pay homage to Japanese car culture in the 90's. In my opinion, the golden age of consumer car manufacturing.

No matter how good the beer is, the label matters, too. Being in the craft beer industry and a fan of craft beer, I am well aware of how much people gravitate to breweries with good branding. This is my take on an appealing beer can label. I designed it with the beer community in mind with an easy-going, nature inspired style.

Beer Can Label

I originally drawn to graphic design with the desire to design the graphics for t-shirts. This flower design is meant for a breast pocket on a t-shirt. It's simple enough to give it aesthetic longevity, yet detailed enough to hold pleasantly one's attention.

Art Page Logo

My partner Quinna makes nature and mythology themed collages in her spare time. She releases her art under the name of "Collage Creature". I was inspired by her art and decided to make her a logo that would be available for use on small runs of merchandise. Elements of the logo evoke feelings of decay, black magic and witchery in a style that is reminiscent of black metal bands. Quinna's art is available for viewing and purchase on instagram @collagecreature

Drypoint Needle Printing

In a traditional printmaking course I completed while attending Camosun College, I tried my hand at drypoint needling. This illustration of a cafe racer motorcycle was created by this old fashioned means of printing. The process includes etching grooves into a plexiglass pane, depositing ink into the grooves, then pressing the ink onto a piece of paper or other substrate.
